Why Parents Choose Us
Elementary School (K-5th)
Starting with the very youngest students, Father’s H.a.r.b.o.r. Academy pays particular attention to a child’s need to learn how to get along with other children and define his or her role within a group. Teachers focus on a young child’s ability to develop ideas, to expand and verbalize them, and to recognize and work with the ideas of other young children.
FHA separates the Elementary Classes into 3 different groups:
K-1st | 2nd-3rd | 4th-5th.
Middle School (6th – 8th)
At Father’s H.a.r.b.o.r. Academy, Middle school students progress from stirring readings to lively class discussions, exciting experiments to scientific reasoning, from learning facts and concepts to applying, synthesizing, and evaluating them. And as they start to make meaning of the world, they also practice giving back to it by engaging in community service, outdoor education, and environmental awareness activities.
High School (9th – 12th)
Father’s H.a.r.b.o.r. Academy high school students are expected to assume responsibility for their own choices, effort, and achievement. Teachers encourage and guide students to construct their own knowledge for true understanding while incorporating Biblical principles. All high school students are offered a Career & College Planning course to prepare them for their future goals. Our teachers and staff work hard to prepare them for college placement exams and college applications.
